Self-regulating Heater Cable

Serge Baril self-regulating heaters adjust their own power output in response to temperature over the entire heater length. Available in a variety of temperature and power ratings up to 190°C (375°F) and 65.6 watts/m (20 watts/ft.), these heaters are used for freeze protection and medium temperature maintenance applications.

Typical Applications:
CCA & FPS Series
- Cut to length IN-PIPE tracing for potable water supply lines (FPS only)
- Metal or plastic pipe and drain freeze protection
- Tank heating
- Snow melt for roofs and gutters

- Temperature maintain of 65.6°C (150°F) with exposure up to 85°C (185°F)
SCS Series
- Process temperature maintain up to 121°C (250°F) with exposure up to 190°C (375°F)
MIC Mineral Insulated Heater Cable

Serge Baril offers mineral-insulated series conductor heater cables with temperature and power ratings up to 593°C (1100°F) and 289 watts/m (88 watts/ft.) and are used for high temperature applications and installations requiring higher power output. They are made up of highly corrosion resistant Incoloy 825.
